SBA Joins VetsGoGlobal Initiative

SBA is excited to join VetsGoGlobal, a Veteran-led initiative of the U.S. Department of Commerce to educate U.S. Veteran-owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-owned businesses about international business opportunities. Veteran-owned businesses are particularly suited for international trade – they have exposure and appreciation of the world outside of the U.S., and the disciplined decision-making, perseverance, and ethics ingrained by military service. This exciting new initiative grew from a local New York area training program to a national drive through its feature on a recent webinar Taking Veteran-owned Businesses into the Global Marketplace hosted by the SBA’s Office of International Trade and the Old Dominion University Veteran Business Outreach Center (VBOC). VetsGoGlobal now encompasses an entire webinar series focused on export readiness, the five pillars of exporting, and export tools and resources. SBA’s Office of International Trade is proud to be affiliated with this important initiative."
